This cozy and eclectic two-story beach home has been recently remodeled and features 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths with spacious living accommodations upstairs, and a bunk and living area downstairs. The top floor at “As You Like It” is equipped with a queen bed in the master bedroom with a private bathroom, and queen and full beds in the guest rooms with a shared bath.

On the ground floor, it features a spacious "dorm-style" space with two twin/full bunk beds and a queen sofa sleeper. This home is just perfect for an extended family beach getaway and everyone is sure to enjoy themselves in the friendly community of Grayton Beach, where you're just minutes to the emerald coast, fantastic local eateries (The new AJ's in Grayton, Another Broken Egg, The Red Bar) and various art galleries and local boutiques.

    Nice location in Grayton, new and improved

    We have stayed at As You Like It in December /January for 6 years or more. It accommodates our group very nicely, especially for the price. Though there is no gulf view, the house has easy beach access and faces the pines just down from the dunes to the west of Grayton, our very favorite beach. However, prior to 2017 the house was in desperate need of updating and minor mostly cosmetic repairs (window treatments, floor covering, etc.). It had gotten so shabby that we probably would not have stayed here again, but we noticed from the pictures online that it had been updated in 2017 and looked very nice. We like the changes very much--new paint, bedding, furniture, wall decor, etc. The rearrangements of furniture in all rooms was also very appealing. The new flooring throughout is practical for a beach house, and much better than the old carpet. Also a new dishwasher--the old one was disgraceful!--and new kitchen utensils and dishes were a much-needed improvement. We were pleased that the tiled wood stove (it looks like an old-timey space capsule) stayed. We love it! I've never seen one like it anywhere else. While we greatly appreciated the improvements, more are still needed. The outside steps and decking need repairs. And some of the old torn up blinds in the windows are still there. I assume the owners plan to replace these before the busy season! We love Grayton Beach and As You Like It and will likely return next year. But don't be fooled by the low rent. They pile on several hundred dollar in the cleaning fee, which I assume is to pay for the updates. Still a good bargain in this neighborhood.

    The houes was nice and clean. I loved that it was kid friendly and it fit my family well however the sofa beds were it made up but there were clean sheets and comforter there so we were good it came equipped almost all our needs. It didn't have enough tissue or paper napkins it also did not have enough garbage bags or a large enough garbage can for a house full of people. I enjoyed my stay and I'll definitely book again and suggest it for anyone looking to book in the area. The beach is walking distance and its beautiful. They had plenty of games for the kids and plenty of chairs and seating places.

    After a windy start on Saturday and Sunday from Maria, the rest of the week was amazing. The house would be great for large groups, but we only had 8 people - four adults and 4 kids. It was nicely decorated and was very comfortable with a well-appointed kitchen. There was plenty of space for us to have our own private areas when we wanted. Easy walk to the beach and close to plenty of good restaurants.

    "As You Like It" just had some major renovations. New floors, new kitchen cabinets and counters. But, there's more work to be done. The outside decking is in need of repairing and painting, and has some dangerous in spots. My husband sat in one of the kitchen chairs, and it collapsed under him. A few of them felt like they needed replacing. The owners didn't remodel the bathrooms. There's currently no mirror in the master bathroom at all. On the plus side, the house was well stocked with fluffy white towels and the kitchen had a ton of new plates, glasses and bowls, etc. The distance to the beach can be brutal, especially with little kids. The first couple of blocks is paved, and then the last stretch is powdering sand that our cart refused to be pulled through. But, once we made the trek, we were rewarded with the clear blue/green water and sugary sad that the emerald coast is known for. And, the crowds on Grayton Beach are not nearly as crazy as other beaches in the area. We loved being next to the state park. Correspondence with Sterling properties could be better. They wrote me back about recycling, but gave me incorrect information. They is no recycling center behind the Publix, but we found another place with some internet searching. I also wrote to ask if the grill was gas or charcoal and got no response. (There are both types of grills at the house, but the gas one doesn't seem to work.) And, our contact person said that the house didn't have any wireless (it does.) Overall, it was a good house for a bunch of people who dont have a ton of money to spend.

    This house has all the Grayton charm that we love. It is on a quite street so there was no need for us to worry about a bunch of noise. The beach is so close to the house that our family was able to easily walk to it everyday which was a huge bonus. This house is very spacious for a big family, and it is close enough to Grayton restaurants that you can just walk or take a bike. (we chose to walk) We would certainly come back to this lovely Grayton home. Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway.

    survey is for chili pepper house we initially started out in AsYou Like It at 171pine street not a safe property at all we would never recommend this location we experienced non working air conditioner the first night we arrived in the first floor and on the second night the main air conditioner went out so we had to work hard to request to be relocated to another property kudos to the local property manager she was able to relocate our family in a very nice safe home.
